She was enlisted by Shao Kahn as the Queen Sindel's personal protector. Sheeva becomes suspicious of Shao Kahn's loyalty towards her race when he places Motaro as the leader of his extermination squads. On the Outworld, Motaro's race of Centaurions are the natural enemy of Sheeva's race of Shokan.
END SCREEN: When Sindel learns of her past she also warns Sheeva of Shao Kahn's true intentions. While Sheeva serves her master on Earth her race of Shokan are being punished in Outworld. Kahn now favors Motaro's race of Centaurs and aids them in defeating the Shokan. After learning of these events, Sheeva turns on her master. She defeats Motaro and in a rage brings down Shao Kahn. She frees the Earth and in doing so frees her homeworld. She then returns to the Outworld and works to restore the pride and respect for her race.
